The Hunter Shore Group are delighted to be working on behalf of one of the worlds most recognizable consumer product brands as they search for a Laboratory Director to lead their UK laboratory ensuring the highest standards of compliance, product integrity, and continuous improvement.

Please note the role is site based 5 days per week and the location is on a main transportation line to the South West of London.
Roles and Responsibilities:
* Lead and oversee daily QC laboratory operations, ensuring raw materials, in-process, and finished goods consistently meet strict quality standards.
* Review and release laboratory test data while safeguarding regulatory compliance (cGMP, FDA, HC, global standards).
* Manage laboratory equipment lifecycle, including budgeting, calibration, qualification, and troubleshooting.
* Drive continuous improvement and audit readiness across laboratory processes.
* Mentor and develop QC staff.
* Partner with suppliers, R&D, and operations to resolve testing issues and support product innovation.
