Clinical Advisor 111 – Newcastle Upon Tyne

Dream Medical is working with a private provider to supply clinical advisors to their site in Newcastle for the NHS 111 service. We are looking for Pathways‑trained clinicians, both nurses and paramedics, who have already been trained on the 111 pathway system and have taken a 111 call in the last six months to take calls from the general public offering advice and guidance on health‑related issues in a telephone triage role.
Responsibilities
* Provide telephone triage to callers, delivering accurate advice and guidance using the NHS 111 pathway system.
* Work within a clear escalation pathway and record calls accurately in the system.
* Participate in ongoing training and quality improvement activities.
Qualifications
* Clinical registration with NMC or HCPC.
* Evidence of continuous professional development.
* Successfully completed NHS Pathways training.
* Have taken a 111 call within the last six months.
Work pattern
* Shift options ranging from 6‑hour days to 12‑hour shifts.
* Work 7 days a week, including weekends.
* The centre operates 24/7, 365 days a year.
Contract & Salary
Job Type: Contract
Salary: £30.00‑£52.00 per hour
Upon successful registration, you will attend a one‑day induction at site.
