To strengthen our Purchasing team, we are looking for aProcurement Agent at our Burgess Hill, UK location for an indefinite period of time as soon as possible
As Procurement Agent:
* You are responsible for the purchase of consumables for the aviation industry and carry out tenders (RFQ/RFP) and bid comparisons
* You independently conduct negotiations and agreements with national and international suppliers and constantly demonstrate your negotiating and communication skills
* You analyze and evaluate statistical data and create a basis for optimized procurement strategies and efficient price negotiations
* Your tasks also include supplier recommendation and selection
* You work cross-functionally and with suppliers to find solutions to payment issues
Requirements:
* You have completed a commercial apprenticeship, primarily as a wholesale and foreign trade clerk, industrial clerk or similar, or a degree in supply chain management or similar.
* You have initial experience in purchasing
* Very good written and spoken English skills are a matter of course for you
* Experienced use of the MS Office package, especially Excel, makes your daily work easier
