We're a growing workwear company looking for an Embroidery Machine Operator to join our busy production team. The role is mainly focused on adding company logos to workwear garments, but you'll also work on a variety of other embroidered products.
The Role
You'll be operating our six-head Happy Japan embroidery machine to produce high-quality embroidered garments. Experience with other machines such as Tajima, Barudan, or SWF is also valuable. We're happy to provide training, but experience is always a bonus.
Key Responsibilities
* Set up, run, and maintain multi-head embroidery machines
* Frame and load garments and fabrics for embroidery
* Interpret and work from embroidery design files (DST, EMB, etc.)
* Carry out thread changes, tension adjustments, and routine machine care
* Inspect finished garments to ensure quality standards are met
* Support the production team in meeting daily targets and deadlines
* Help with other general production tasks when needed
About You
* Previous embroidery machine experience (1+ year preferred, but not essential)
* Basic computer skills
* Embroidery software knowledge (e.g. Wilcom, Hatch etc) is a plus
* Detail-oriented with strong quality control skills
* Able to work both independently and as part of a team
* Comfortable in a fast-paced production environment
* Knowledge of different fabrics and embroidery techniques is an advantage
