Electrical Technician - Machine Maintenance

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Technician - Machine Maintenance to join us in Barnoldswick.

In this role, you will provide support to the Manufacturing Services Leader and Engineer to ensure the organisation's objectives are met. Your responsibilities include performing electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance on production and experimental test beds, manufacturing assets, and associated equipment.

Responsibilities:

* Perform routine, reactive, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance tasks across manufacturing assets and equipment.
* Utilise hand tools and test equipment to meet customer requirements.
* Use drawings and data to implement effective electrical systems.
* Collect, organise, and analyse data supporting Key Performance Indicators.
* Read and interpret machinery drawings, electrical schematics, manuals, and catalogues.
* Identify and suggest improvements to electrical procedures and work instructions.
* Coordinate electrical activities with production staff and communicate effectively with team members.
* Work with engineers to understand and restore equipment performance.
* Support asset maintenance to ensure safety and high performance.
* Assist in the induction and cross-training of team members.
* Process Work Orders and generate reports from the CMMS.
* Operate site-specific equipment safely, with proper training.


Requirements:

* NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrotechnical apprenticeship.
* Current BS7671 Certificate (desirable).
* CompEx certification scheme Ex01-04 (desirable).
* Good understanding of electrical installations and maintenance.
* Basic IT literacy.
* Knowledge of health and safety standards and regulations.
* Ability to work with engineering drawings.
