As a growing and forward-thinking company, our client is looking to recruit an experienced Injection Mould Setter to join their weekend production team. This is a hands-on role, responsible for the setup and optimisation of injection moulding machines to ensure smooth and efficient production. Injection Mould Setter - Weekend Shift Location: Yaxley, Cambridgeshire Salary: £18.12 per hour £100 weekly shift allowance Hours: Friday to Sunday, 06:00 - 18:00 Contract: Full-time, Permanent Key Responsibilities: Set up, adjust, and maintain injection moulding machinery for optimal performance Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot issues to reduce downtime Perform tooling changes quickly and safely Calibrate master batch units in line with setting sheets Ensure all work meets quality standards and timing expectations Accurately record scrap quantities, downtime reasons, and other key data into the ERP system Work closely with the Supervisor and Production Manager to meet production requirements Maintain a safe working environment and comply with all company health & safety policies Required Experience: Minimum 3 years' experience in injection moulding and machine setting Ability to carry out efficient tool changes and maintain optimal machine performance Experience using master batch calibration and setting sheets Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality standards, and safety regulations Confident communicator with the ability to work well with team members at all levels Basic computer literacy and ability to use ERP systems Organised and calm under pressure Good numeracy and written/spoken English skills Excellent problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail Benefits: Weekly pay £100 weekend shift allowance Free onsite parking Access to employee discount & cashback platform Full training and support provided Friendly and supportive team environment Important Information: This is a weekend-only shift, but flexibility is essential.
