Job Title: Technical Engineer
Salary: £35,000 - £41,000

We are partnering with an innovative, modern manufacturing business based in Rotherham to recruit a Technical Engineer. Role Overview
Reporting to the Technical Manager, the Technical Engineer will be responsible for:
* Coordinating and implementing foundry techniques, including Titanium, air techniques, and thermal processing.
* Ensuring technical sign-offs are completed.
* Writing and completing Finishing Route Cards.
* Approving heat treatment techniques with support from the Technical Director.
* Participating in techniques meetings.
* Developing, improving, and monitoring manufacturing processes.
* Maintaining logs of product development and data analysis for customer issues and trials.
* Supporting customer projects as the main technical lead, including project meetings.
* Managing workloads and ensuring deadlines are met.
* Interpreting and presenting data to management and senior colleagues.
* Responding to technical enquiries.
Candidate Profile
This role suits someone currently working as a Manufacturing Engineer or Technical Coordinator within a heat treatment, foundry, steelworks, or castings environment. The candidate should:
* Have knowledge of foundry and heat treatment techniques.
* Be capable of understanding technical information.
* Be proficient with internal databases.
* Be eager to learn and develop technical product knowledge.
* Be able to work independently.
