We design & manufacture a wide range of equipment, primarily for Motorsport use.
Predominantly we produce flight cases, but other equipment would include fabricated carts, machined parts and assembly of laser cut/folded & powder coated parts.
Job Overview
We are seeking a flight case builder / all round assembly technician who can turn their hand to any task to join our small team.
The position will last for 6 months, but could lead to a permanent position.
Each flight case is produced from CNC routed materials, with extrusion cut using mitre saws and air rivetted together. Case design varies significantly, with some being simple boxes, foam lined, with fridges in, to complex cases with 6 TV screens installed and wired.
Other tasks would be the assembly of exhibition walling from panelling with fasteners bonded in to the assembly of machined components.
The ideal candidate will therefore have:

* A background in producing similar products to a high standard
* Be able to work alone or as part of a team
* High attention to detail and problem solving abilities.
It will be your responsibility to ensure all cases & products are built / assembled to the highest standard.
It is a necessity to have experience and be fully competent with the use of hand tools, power tools and producing high quality items.
Responsibilities
* Interpret and understand technical drawings and specifications
* Fabricate cases using hand tools and power tools, ensuring precision in measurements and cuts.
* Assemble components, ensuring quality and aesthetic appeal.
* Conduct quality checks throughout the manufacturing process to maintain high standards.
* Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely project completion.
* Maintain a clean and organised workspace
Requirements
* Based in the UK and able to travel to our work premises in Bidford
* Proven experience in a similar role.
* Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
* Strong skills in case building, fabrication, and assembly techniques.
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings accurately.
* Familiarity with basic electrical aspects regarding installation of TV & other appliances into our cases is advantageous.
* Excellent attention to detail, with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise.
We offer working days of Monday to Thursday 8-5pm, with a 30 minute paid lunch break. 2 sick days per year and 20 days holiday excluding bank holidays. Optional Friday hours can be available during busy periods if offered.
