About the Role
In this valued role you will provide expert assessment‑related recommendations to support colleagues across the organization. When not creating and signing off exams, you will work on grading, setting thresholds, and ensuring accuracy and fairness of materials for our learners worldwide.
Responsibilities
* Signing off the exams that our students sit every series.
* Managing the complete lifecycle of a portfolio of syllabuses, from development to delivery.
* Overseeing the production of all assessment materials to ensure 100 % accuracy, error‑free question papers, and reliable grade thresholds.
* Ensuring exams are comparable across series, years, and for candidates from different countries and backgrounds.
* Recruiting, allocating, and developing Assessment Specialists (Setters, Revisers, Vetters and Assistant Examiners) and managing their performance and succession planning.
* Collaborating with ministry customers worldwide to develop and revise syllabuses.
Qualifications
* Degree in Mathematics or a closely related subject.
* Strong command of the English language and knowledge of assessment practices in an educational setting.
* Experience working in a classroom as a teacher and, ideally, knowledge of international education.
* Any post‑graduate qualifications in educational assessment, project management, or examination experience will be highly desirable.
* Interest and flexibility to work in other subjects within the team, including Information Technology and Computer Science.
