Job title: Senior Internal BDM Location: Fleet, Hampshire Reporting to: Lucy Freeman, Assistant Sales Manager About the role We are looking for a Senior Internal BDM to join the team! As Senior Internal BDM your role will be to promote Fleet Mortgages and provide expert knowledge on our products and lending criteria to our intermediary partners. You will also take on additional development responsibilities including deputising for the Assistant Sales Manager when they are unavailable. Some of your day to day will include: Understand the intermediary’s ‘business’ and focus on maximizing new business potential within the scope of Fleet’s ongoing new business risk appetite. Achieve set targets through the development of both new and existing intermediary relationships, Use the Contact Relationship Management (CRM) system to maintain and keep up to date records of contact with intermediaries and additionally maintain broker database. Provide technical expertise to intermediaries on Fleet Mortgages’ products and underwriting criteria and technical IT support to intermediaries and problem solve intermediary portal issues. Take responsibility for managing inbound and outbound calls effectively, specifically new business enquiries. Focus on maximising new business potential within the scope of Fleet's ongoing new business risk appetite. Achieve set targets through the development of both new and existing intermediary relationships. Use the Contact Relationship Management (CRM) system to maintain and keep up to date records of contact with intermediaries and maintain broker database. Provide technical expertise to intermediaries on Fleet's products and underwriting criteria. Supporting brokers with using the portal and problem solving any issues they may encounter. To be successful we are looking for: Someone experienced in Sales, either within a face to face or telephone based environment. Ability to easily build relationships with key stakeholders. Results driven and resilient. Team player with a positive can-do attitude. Active listening skills - able to understand customer needs and concerns is key. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Adaptable and keen to learn. PC literate with experience of using Microsoft Office products and CRM systems. CeMAP qualified or working towards.
