Responsibilities
* Assist the head chef and others in food preparation and cooking
* Supervise kitchen staff to ensure efficient operations
* Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene
* Collaborate with team members to create innovative dishes
* Manage inventory and assist with ordering supplies
* Support the development of new menu items
* Ensure timely service during peak hours
* Foster a positive team environment.
* Qualifications
* Proven experience in a kitchen environment, preferably as an assistant chef or similar role
* Strong knowledge of food safety regulations
* Excellent culinary skills with a passion for cooking
* Ability to manage and motivate a team effectively
* Good communication skills and ability to work under pressure
* Experience in menu planning is a plus.
* A background in hospitality is advantageous.
