Location: Telford
Shifts: Double Days (Monday - Friday)
Salary: £46,000 + Shift Allowance
As a Facilities Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving a wide range of site facilities and utilities, ensuring smooth operations across the plant. You will also manage contractors and support continuous improvement initiatives across health, safety, and environmental standards.
Responsibilities
* Maintain and service site systems including CCTV, door access & barriers
* Fire alarms, boilers & HVAC systems
* Compressors, chillers & water treatment plants
* Lighting, drainage & building fabric
* Manage contractors for cleaning, maintenance, and specialist services
* Support preventative maintenance programmes
* Uphold and promote HSE policies across site
Qualifications
* Hands-on engineering experience in facilities/maintenance
* Time-served Maintenance Engineer or Electrician
* Strong contractor management skills
* Knowledge of CMMS, ISO 14001, CHP/generators (advantageous)
* Self-starter with problem-solving ability and a proactive 'can-do' approach
* Flexibility to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
