Group Financial Reporting Manager

Your Responsibilities:
As a Financial Reporting Manager, you'll lead the way in providing high-quality financial reporting while navigating complex systems and dispersed teams. Key responsibilities include:
* Preparing consolidated annual financial statements for multiple group entities.
* Reviewing subsidiary financial statements and managing the offshore team.
* Leading the year-end audit, liaising with auditors, and performing goodwill impairment assessments.
* Overseeing significant balance sheet reconciliations and interest calculations.
* Managing quarterly lender reporting and responding to lender queries.
* Ensuring loan compliance, monitoring obligations, and managing lender relations.
* Preparing consolidated monthly financial reports for the Board pack and investor use.
* Building relationships across diverse teams to implement best practices and drive process improvements.
* Providing expert guidance in IFRS accounting standards and technical accounting matters.
* Overseeing supplier payment compliance, VAT returns, and ONS reporting requirements.
About You:
To shine in this role, you'll need to bring:
* A degree or equivalent experience along with ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualification.
* Strong technical accounting knowledge, with up-to-date expertise in IFRS reporting standards.
* At least five years' experience within a large, complex group structure.
* Previous audit or practice background, with proven experience in preparing financial statements.
* Team leadership experience, demonstrating your ability to inspire and manage talent.
* Advanced proficiency in financial systems, handling large datasets, and tools such as Excel and ideally Power BI.
