Moorgate Training Limited are seeking to expand their trainer panel in Scotland and Northern Ireland due to high demand. A leading provider of the Drink Drive Rehabilitation Scheme (DDRS) and National Driver Offender Retraining Scheme (NDORS) e.g. speed awareness. We deliver police and court approved driver safety training courses throughout the UK. We welcome applications from appropriately qualified, experienced and enthusiastic professionals who have a passion for delivering training, including road safety education. We offer great support on a personal level to all trainers, upskilling on course delivery, plus fair and prompt payment. The course delivery format will be online via Zoom. NDORS courses lasts three hours and depending on your availability and client demand, a variable number of hours (typically 12-40 hours per week) will be offered on a month-by-month basis, between the hours of 8am-8pm daily, scheduled around your availability. DDRS courses are each for three days duration scheduled one day per week, over three weeks. What we’re looking for from our trainers: A nationally recognised teaching qualification at level 3 or above in delivering teaching or training. Hold a current Disclosure and Barring Service certificate, (Enhanced with check of the barred list and annual updates). We can arrange this for you at cost. Excellent knowledge of the Highway Code and the ability to refer to the Highway Code during courses. The ability to deliver training courses as specified in the course manual, and commitment to doing so. The willingness to adapt delivery style to meet the needs of diverse groups of clients. Excellent presentation skills. Excellent group facilitation skills. Excellent coaching skills. IT competency and a computer sufficient to run effective Zoom meetings, share videos cleanly, and complete administrative tasks. We ask that all trainers delivering the NDORS courses on our behalf must additionally hold the following qualifications and experience as a minimum requirement: You will be required to obtain a licence from UK Road Offender Education (UKROEd) to deliver National Driver Offender Retraining Scheme (NDORS) course(s). We will provide the training free of charge (2 day training), plus a period of mentoring. You will need to provide a second screen for your computer to enable you to share a PowerPoint presentation whilst keeping full view of nine clients. For DDRS courses we require: You to undergo training on Moorgate Trainings DDRS course and a period of mentoring. We make no charge but you need to give the time.
