Main duties of the job
1. Blood Collection: Skillfully draw blood from patients using various techniques to ensure accurate and sufficient samples.
2. Patient Interaction: Communicate effectively with patients, explaining procedures, alleviating concerns, and maintaining a calm and reassuring environment.
3. Specimen Labeling and Handling: Accurately label blood samples, organize them for transportation, and ensure proper handling to maintain specimen integrity.
4. Documentation: Record and maintain detailed records of patient information, blood collection procedures, and other relevant data in compliance with healthcare regulations.
5. Safety Protocols: Follow strict safety and infection control protocols to minimize the risk of contamination and ensure a secure environment for both the phlebotomist and the patient.

The desired candidate is expected to work around the Orpington and Biggin Hill area ie. Orpington health and wellbeing Centre, Ballater surgery, Stock Hill surgery.
