We need an
Engineering Manager
. Not just any Engineering Manager. Someone who can run multiple sites, get machines running like clockwork, and still have the energy to coach a team of 10+.
Youll report into the Head of Operations. That means youll be the person everyone looks at when kit breaks down, projects need delivering, or someone mentions the words risk assessment. If that kind of pressure gives you hives, this isnt for you.

The Job
Lead and develop a multi-site engineering team that doesnt just fix things when they break but actually prevents them from breaking.
Deliver projects that matter- energy reduction, process optimisation, compliance.
Make sure everything we do meets food safety, hygiene and HSE standards (If acronyms bore you, youll hate this role).
Bring new ideas, new tech, and new ways of working. Were not looking for someone who wants to keep things ticking along.
Report on performance. Own KPIs. Hit targets. Repeat.
The Person
Youve led engineering in a manufacturing environment before (FMCG/extrusion would be a bonus, but not a deal-breaker).
You know how to get the most out of a team- coaching, developing, and giving them clear direction.
Root cause analysis is your go to.
You can juggle multiple sites without dropping the ball.
Flexible, resilient, not averse to a bit of pressure.
The Package
£60k salary
25 days holiday (plus bank holidays)
5% EE / 6% ER pension
Private medical (after probation)

Base location is
Bedfordshire but youll be travelling between sites- so a driving licence is non-negotiable.
