We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Conveyancing Assistant to join our team in Chard. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills, a keen attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently, providing essential support and assisting with the smooth processing of property transactions. This role is pivotal in ensuring that all documentation is accurate and deadlines are met, contributing to an efficient and professional service for our clients.
Responsibilities
* Assist conveyancers in managing property transactions from start to finish.
* Respond to client and third party enquiries in a professional manner.
* Liaise with clients, estate agents, and other stakeholders to gather necessary documentation.
* Maintain accurate records of all correspondence and documentation related to each transaction using our case management system.
* Ensure compliance with legal requirements and company policies throughout the conveyancing process.
* Provide administrative support, including scheduling appointments and managing files.
Qualifications
* Previous office experience is essential and experience of working in a similar role in a law firm would be desirable.
* Strong organisational skills with a keen attention to detail.
* Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and effectively with clients and colleagues alike.
* Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite applications and case management systems.
