Technical Project Manager: M365 to Google Migration Hybrid - Inside IR35 - Chessington We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead a large scale Google Workplace Migration. This Project, is the UK migration from M365 to Google Workspace. This initiative is part of a wider program driven by the international parent company. However, we require a local PM to ensure the seamless execution of the migration within our UK operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for owning all aspects of the migration, engaging key stakeholders, consulting business departments, and arranging end-user training to ensure a smooth transition, whilst being the UK Google Workspace Champion. Key Responsibilities: Manage the end-to-end migration from M365 to Google Workspace for the UK business, ensuring alignment with the global program. Bring lessons learned from previous Google Workspace migrations to maximise the clients delivery success potential. Technical Coordination - Work alongside IT and technical teams to oversee data migration, security policies, and integration with existing systems. Stakeholder Communication - Provide regular updates to UK business leaders, IT teams, and end-users on project progress, risks, and timelines. Change Management - Work closely with business departments to understand their specific requirements, concerns, and support needs during the transition. Training & Adoption - Coordinate and arrange training sessions to ensure end-users are well-equipped to use Google Workspace effectively. Risk & Issue Management - Identify potential risks and proactively address any issues to minimize disruption to business operations. Collaboration with Global Team - Liaise with the project team in Germany to align on project milestones, challenges, and best practices. Reporting & Documentation - Maintain detailed project documentation, including timelines, resource allocation, and stakeholder feedback. Key Skills & Experience: Project Management Expertise - Proven experience managing Google Cloud, and Google Workspace migration projects. Project Management Expertise - Proven experience managing Google to Microsoft, and Microsoft to Google cloud migrations. Stakeholder Engagement - Ability to work with diverse teams, from technical IT staff to non-technical business users. Change Management & Training - Experience in managing change programs and delivering user training. Communication & Reporting - Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of providing clear updates to senior leadership and stakeholders. Technical Understanding - Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace platforms, including data migration principles and best practices. Problem-Solving & Risk Management - Ability to anticipate challenges and implement solutions to minimize impact. Global Project Coordination - Experience working with international teams is a plus.
