Job Description
Ripplevale School is a successful Independent Special School for pupils aged between 6-18. We provide a nurturing and caring environment for pupils with ASD who still want the same rigour of a full curriculum.
We are looking for applicants who are committed, enthusiastic and innovative to join us to enhance the inspirational teaching within our school, teaching core subjects. Ideally, candidates will have experience delivering core subjects in a multi-sensory way in a specialist setting but it is not essential as training will be provided so if you are passionate about working with children with ASD in smaller class sizes to make a real difference, then please apply.

Shortlisted candidates may be observed working with the children as part of the selection process.
Safeguarding
Ripplevale School is committed to safeguarding and protecting the welfare of children and the successful candidate will be required to:
Have an Enhanced DBS Disclosure and the successful candidate, as per KCSIE will also have an online search undertaken which is also considered for all shortlisted candidates.
Ensure you are aware of all Ripplevale School’s Safeguarding Policies.
Ensure you abide by those policies (names and points of contact for all relevant agencies can be found in the policies).
Participate in all Safeguarding training as required by the school.
Immediately report any incidents of a child protection / safeguarding nature.
Be aware that failure by a member of staff to report actual or suspected physical, sexual or emotional abuse or neglect of a pupil is a disciplinary offence.
