Responsibilities
* Sales and Business Development:
* Sell new, used, and refurbished packaging machinery and conveyor systems to a range of clients.
* Generate new business through lead generation and market research.
* Manage and grow existing client accounts.
* Client and Product Management:
* Prepare and deliver sales presentations to prospective customers.
* Conduct customer demonstrations of equipment.
* Manage the product/service mix and pricing to achieve sales targets.
* Territory and Target Management:
* Achieve agreed-upon annual sales targets.
* Effectively plan and manage a specific sales territory.
* Identify and develop new markets and opportunities.
Skills and qualifications
* Sales Experience: Previous experience in a similar sales role, preferably in industrial or capital equipment sales, is often required.
* Technical Knowledge: A strong understanding of packaging machinery, conveyor systems, and related industrial processes is necessary.
* Commercial Acumen: Ability to manage pricing, margins, and product mix to meet business goals.
* Soft Skills: Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills are essential for building client relationships and closing deals.
