Job Introduction
We are currently looking for a Logistics Coordinator to join our friendly team based in Alrewas, close to Burton on Trent in Staffordshire and is to work with the team as part of the Pavement solutions national business.

Main Responsibilities
The successful candidate for the role of Logistics Coordinator will have a wide range of responsibilities including;
1. Liaise with operations staff and plant operators to collate information with regards to contracting supply chain and plant supply
2. Coordinate, in conjunction with operations the efficient organisation and delivery of material / plant resources to meet the programme needs
3. Daily ordering of materials, booking of deliveries and notify management of problems – assist in problem solving
4. Support the teams with administration duties where necessary
5. Collate and format monthly stats and reports for the Operations Manager
Essentially you will ensure the smooth and economical running of a number of projects, giving support to the Contracts Managers, Project Agent Quantity Surveyors, Estimators, Batching Plant Operators and liaising with administrators.
The ideal candidate for the role of Logistics Coordinator will be able to demonstrate:
6. Secondary school education, A Levels etc or equivalent
7. requirement for experience in successfully leading and developing teams
8. You should have a good working knowledge of both Microsoft Office and SAP and be able to demonstrate knowledge of material types, types of plant
9. Experience of working within a busy environment is advantageous as is the ability to work remotely with multiple colleagues and suppliers
