Job Description
Be a part of a special care team delivering care to our client, a delightful child, supporting her to reach her full potential. Due to her complex needs, you will work alongside healthcare assistants to deliver care within her home, maintaining clinical safety and managing respiratory interventions.
You will follow the care plan, which includes caring for a ventilated child, managing peg feeds, oxygen therapy, deep suctioning, and seizure management. Additionally, you will support all aspects of daily living and engage in sensory play, as she enjoys interacting with her siblings and participating in therapy sessions.
What you’ll do
* Deliver care in line with the care plan, including respiratory management and daily living support.
* Engage in sensory play and support therapy sessions.
Qualifications
What you’ll need
* Experience in a complex care setting.
* Experience in moving and handling.
* Experience with peg feeding and deep suctioning.
* Experience in catheter care.
* Experience caring for a ventilated child.
* Driver’s license is required due to location.
