About Sustain Borders…
Aberlour Sustain Borders is a developing service taking forward Aberlour’s ground-breaking ‘Edge of Care’ service. Sustain delivers early intervention and engagement activities supporting children, young people, and their families, enabling children to remain at home rather than moving into residential care.
What we are looking for....
We are recruiting one Part Time Community Support Practitioner to join our team. Candidates should have enthusiasm and energy and share our vision that collaborative early intervention and engagement is the best option for children and families on the ‘edge of care’. You should be flexible to work early mornings, evenings, and weekends, bringing a fresh, collaborative approach tailored to family needs.
You should be dynamic, creative, and able to deliver flexible, person-centred services to vulnerable children and families in a playful, warm, accepting, curious, tenacious, and empathetic manner.
Work will include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and 1 weekend every 4 weeks for out-of-hours phone cover. Appropriate time off will be provided for out-of-hours work.
This is a fixed-term role until November 2025.
At Aberlour, we aim to ensure every child and young person has the love, support, and opportunity to reach their potential. We seek candidates who demonstrate how Aberlour’s values of Respect, Innovation, Integrity, and Challenge are reflected in their practice. A current driving license and access to a vehicle are required.
For an informal discussion, contact Tracy Hall, Service Manager, at 07849 083730.
Aberlour is committed to safeguarding and uses PVG Scheme checks for recruitment.
Applications close by midnight on Thursday, 15th May 2025, with interviews scheduled for the week commencing 26th May 2025.
