About Mole Valley Life

With over 35 years’ worth of experience helping to support older, vulnerable and disabled residents across Mole Valley, Reigate & Banstead, Tandridge, Epsom & Ewell, Elmbridge and Guildford & Waverley based from our office in Dorking, Surrey. Operational daily between 06:00 – 22:00, Mole Valley Life’s responders will be on hand to quickly deal with non-emergency situations out in the community and escalate as appropriate.

About The Role

Working across Surrey, you will be trained to provide non-emergency assistance, as well as in-person wellbeing advice and signposting to local support services.

Responding to alerts received by our Alarm Receiving Centre, you will be required to use a strengths-based approach to best support the individual. Situations you attend could range from assisting a non-injured person who may have fallen, to having a cup of tea and a chat with an individual who may be feeling lonely and isolated.

No fixed hours. Providing cover for a rota comprising 8 hour shifts, 6am to 2pm and 2pm to 10pm.

Applicants will need to attend a 3 day health and Safety course, the dates are 7/8 or 26/27 August 2025. 1 day pre online learning then 2 days in the classroom at Pippbrook, Dorking.

Due to the nature of the role all successful applicants will need to be immunised inline with our occupational health guidance for Healthcare workers.

Due to the nature of the role a full driving license will be essential for the successful candidates.

Full training including responder and first aid will be provided, and no qualifications are necessary.
