Overview

Customer Service Agent - Make Every Conversation Count!

Location: Southend-on-Sea

Salary: £25,000 - £28,000 basic + up to £200 monthly bonus

Hours: Full-time, flexible rota - hybrid after training

We"re recruiting on behalf of a leading insurance provider for a Customer Service Agent who leads by example, inspires team spirit, and always puts the customer first.

The Role

* As a Customer Service Agent, you will: Provide expert, friendly support to customers
* Listen, empathise, and resolve queries across calls, emails, and live chat
* Guide customers through policies, claims, and any needs
* Achieve service and quality targets while keeping a personal touch
* Stay compliant with FCA regulations and company policies


What Were Looking For

* Experience in customer service or contact centre environments
* Comfortable working to sales and service targets
* Excellent rapport-building skills and a caring approach
* Confident using multiple systems and handling varied queries
* Positive, proactive problem-solver with great teamwork skills


Shift Pattern

After training, you\'ll work flexibly within these hours: 37.5 hour working week

* Mon-Fri: 8:30 AM - 8:00 PM
* Sat: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM
* Sun: 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM
* Includes 1 Saturday per month and 1 Sunday per month
