SEN Teaching Assistant
Milk Education is recruiting purpose-driven, ambitious SEN Teaching Assistants to join SEN schools across Derby, working on a long-term or short-term basis, starting immediately.
This is an exciting opportunity for new or experienced educators to join fantastic schools and support pupils in reaching their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide one-to-one support to pupils within a classroom setting.
2. Help pupils access learning activities and achieve their individual targets.
3. Support pupils consistently while responding to their individual needs.
4. Support pupils with communication, social skills, and emotional regulation.
5. Encourage positive behaviour and manage challenging behaviour within classroom settings.
Essential Qualifications:
6. Must have recent and relevant experience in an education setting.
7. Strong communication skills.
8. Patient, caring, and enthusiastic attitude.
9. Ability to work under the guidance of the classroom teacher.
