Detail-oriented Accounts Assistant needed to support finance team with bookkeeping and reporting. Job Summary: Our client is seeking to hire a highly talented, organised and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to support their finance team. The ideal candidate will assist with bookkeeping, invoicing, financial reporting, and general administrative tasks, ensuring the smooth running of the finance function. Key Responsibilities: Maintain accurate financial records and process invoices, receipts, and payments. Assist with bank reconciliations and VAT returns. Support the preparation of monthly financial reports. Manage accounts payable and receivable. Assist in payroll processing and employee expense claims. Liaise with suppliers and customers regarding account queries. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies. Provide general administrative support to the finance team. Required Skills & Qualifications: AAT Qualification Level 2 or above Previous experience in an accounting or finance role. Strong numerical skills and attention to detail. Proficiency in Sage 50 and MS Office (Excel, Word). Excellent communication and organisational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Basic knowledge of UK accounting principles and regulations. Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic work setting.
