About this role
This is a fixed‑term post (May‑31 August) at York and Scarborough Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. The role involves operational management of adult community services and delivery of a vision for community services that supports outstanding care.
Responsibilities
* Operationally manage Adult Community Services, supporting and leading the wider team.
* Work in partnership with the Matrons and the AHP Operational Manager as part of the senior leadership team.
* Shape services, partnerships and the workforce to drive forward the commitment to outstanding care.
* Strategically understand the importance of developing services outside of the hospital and how different parts of the system impact one another.
* Communicate effectively with influencing skills, political astuteness and resilience to ensure patient safety, quality, access and a positive experience for patients, carers and staff.
* Participate in the hospital management on‑call rota.
