Job Title: Tea Time Club Leader (Early Years Foundation Stage 3 - 5years)
Hours: Monday - Thursday, 2.45pm - 5.45pm (Term Time Only)
About the Role
We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic, and reliable Tea Time Club Leader to supervise and engage children aged 3 - 5 (Nursery and Reception) during our after school Tea Time Club. This role involves creating a safe, calm, and enjoyable end of day environment where children can relax, eat, and participate in simple activities before being collected by parents or carers.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise and care for Nursery and EYFS children from 2.45pm - 5.45pm
* Serve light tea/snacks and encourage good table manners
* Ensure the safety, wellbeing, and happiness of all children
* Follow safeguarding and health & safety procedures at all times
* Communicate with parents/carers at collection time
* Work collaboratively with school/nursery staff
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
* Experience working with young children (Nursery, EYFS, childcare, or similar)
* Level 3 qualification in Nursery Nursing / Early Years Childcare (Essential)
* A warm, patient, and positive approach
* Good communication and teamwork skills
* An understanding of safeguarding and child wellbeing
