A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a senior and highly experienced Social Worker to work for a dynamic and progressive organisation to deliver Social Work education and leadership. The Social Work Adults Development Lead position offers a great opportunity for a Social Worker whose core values are to place adults at the centre of all learning and ensure approaches to workforce development and wellbeing are compassionate and high quality.

This role requires a leader who is a passionate social worker, an innovator, and personally motivated to work with social workers in a range of roles; care group leaders, corporate leaders and several multi‑professional teams who support high standards of clinical care provision, supervision, and education. The role will focus on supporting the development of NHS Social Work and the professional identity of our social workers and representing the Trust at regional meetings, ensuring learning and opportunities are conveyed and utilised "in Trust".
Responsibilities
* Provide a highly visible educational and leadership role for all Social Work staff across all directorates, with a specific focus on adult services.
* Collaborate with clinical and operational leaders across Rotherham Doncaster and South Humber NHS Foundation Trust (RDaSH) to ensure compliance with professional standards and development of high‑quality integrated care across the Trust.
* Lead on social work student placements and the practice education of student social workers.
* Provide support and supervision responsibilities to Experienced Social Workers.
* Coordinate support for Newly Qualified Social Workers undertaking the Assessed and Supported Year in Employment (ASYE) programme.
* Support and supervise learning and development for social workers and contribute to CPD programmes and the development of Social Work Apprenticeship.

Requirements / Qualifications
* Senior and highly experienced Social Worker with a commitment to compassionate, high‑quality learning and workforce development.
* Demonstrated leadership, innovation, and the ability to work with social workers in multiple roles and with multi‑professional teams.
* Experience in overseeing student placements, ASYE supervision, CPD delivery, and social work apprenticeship development.
