A specialist SEND school in Uxbridge (UB8) is looking for a caring and committed Learning Support Assistant to join their team. This full-time role involves supporting students with very severe learning and physical needs. You will provide 1:1 and small group support, assist with personal care (including manual handling), and work closely with staff to maintain a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment. Key Details: •Location: Uxbridge (UB8) •Hours: 08:45 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday to Thursday (Term-time only) •Pay: £89- 95 per day (PAYE) •Start Date: ASAP / September 2025 Key Responsibilities: •Provide 1:1 and group support for students with severe and complex needs. •Assist with personal care, including manual handling •Help manage challenging behaviours in a calm, supportive way. •Support students’ physical and emotional wellbeing throughout the day •Collaborate with teaching and support staff to meet individual care and learning plans.
