Job Purpose:
A fantastic opportunity has arisen within one of our prestigious sites in Central London for a dynamic Security Supervisor. You will be self-driven with a proactive mindset to lead a security-focused team and deliver high-quality customer service to clients and service users. The ideal candidate will possess extensive supervisory skills in the security sector, team leadership, and an intuitive approach to exceeding expectations. Responsibilities include recruiting, managing, and empowering your team, setting a positive example, and maintaining excellent communication with stakeholders, including the client. This full-time role involves working 60 hours per week, Wednesday to Sunday, with a competitive salary and 28 days of holiday including bank holidays. Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise and support the shift team and assist the Site Security Manager
* Ensure staff are trained on site procedures and systems
* Review and complete shift handovers to a high standard
* Coordinate daily activities and conduct regular building patrols
* Report faults and complete incident reports promptly
* Provide break cover and maintain professional service standards
* Carry out CCTV monitoring and key/asset management
* Manage access to facilities like cycle stores
* Collaborate with other service providers to achieve shared goals
* Maintain high security standards and ensure task quality
* Understand cross-functional operations like back of house, post room, loading bay, control room, incident management, and response
* Strategically plan security functions and ensure SLA compliance
* Create rotas, manage staffing levels, and respond to emergencies such as medical incidents, bomb threats, and fire alarms
* Ensure staff uniforms are professional and maintain confidentiality
* Demonstrate leadership, customer service excellence, and flexibility to work days, nights, and weekends
* Possess a valid DS license; CCTV license is advantageous but can be trained
* Be computer literate with skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
* Show knowledge of security systems and ability to work independently and as part of a team
