Salary: £45,630 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am 4:30pm (45 hours per week)
We are recruiting for an experienced Panel Beater to join a well-established commercial vehicle and fleet maintenance business in Bellshill.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out accident damage repairs to commercial vehicles and trailers
* Complete panel repairs and bodywork rectification to a high standard
* Undertake off-site repairs at customer locations when required
* Identify additional repair requirements and report findings promptly
* Ensure efficient use of parts, materials and repair methods
* Complete all job cards and workshop documentation accurately
* Follow health and safety procedures at all times
* Maintain a clean and organised work area
* Wear and maintain PPE in accordance with company policies
* Work independently when required and follow lone-working procedures
Requirements
* Previous experience as a Panel Beater, HGV Panel Beater or Commercial Vehicle Body Repair Technician
* Experience repairing commercial vehicle bodywork
* Strong understanding of panel repair techniques
* Basic knowledge of paint products and application methods
* Good communication and organisational skills
* Ability to work efficiently while maintaining high quality standards
Desirable
* Municipal vehicle experience
* Mechanical knowledge
* LGV Class 1 Licence
