Key Responsibilities
* Inspirational Delivery: Lead engaging English lessons across Key Stages 3 & 4, making complex texts accessible and fun for all learners.
* Vocabulary & Oracy: Focus on extending language and increasing vocabulary, using visual materials and sentence stems to support student progress.
* Adaptive Teaching: Identify students who may be falling behind and provide the "extra support" needed to build their confidence and academic success.
* Safe Learning Environment: Maintain a non-judgmental, encouraging classroom where students feel secure to make mistakes and learn at their own pace.
* Collaborative Practice: Work as a strong team player, sharing best practices and contributing to the school's overall "Working Together" ethos.
Requirements
* Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Subject Specialist: A deep passion for English Language and Literature with the ability to lead a room with presence and authority.
* Communication: Excellent written and spoken English, acting as a role model for oracy and language use.
* Compliance: An Enhanced DBS check is required (Randstad can assist with your application).
