An opportunity has arisen for a Geo-Environmental Engineer in the Wigan area to gain exposure in delivering ground engineering projects throughout their full cycle within a multi-disciplinary environment.
This Geo-Environmental Engineer role involves both site work and office deliverables, including all aspects of project management and technical reporting.
Responsibilities include management of all site/ground investigation works (locally), assisting in drafting Phase 1 & 2 reports, remediation methods, risk assessments, foundation design/recommendations, and validation works.
Requirements for the Geo-Environmental Engineer role include:
1. A degree in a relevant geology, environmental science, or engineering discipline.
2. At least 12 months of ground investigation experience in the UK.
3. Some reporting experience is preferred, although training will be provided.
4. Ability to commute to Wigan.
5. A valid driving license.
