Hours: Part-Time (20 hours per week) can be over 4 or 5 days
Contract: Fixed-Term (Maternity Cover – approx. 9 months, starting early November 2025)
We’re working with a well-established childcare provider in Cambridge who is looking to appoint a Part time Recruitment Co-ordinator on a fixed-term basis to cover maternity leave.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is organised, proactive, and personable and wants to join a friendly and supportive team. You’ll take ownership of the recruitment process from start to finish, from writing adverts and shortlisting candidates to scheduling interviews and helping new starters settle in.
The successful candidate will be a quick learner, confident working independently, and happy to take initiative. In return, you’ll be welcomed into a warm, relaxed environment where no two days are quite the same.
Key Responsibilities for the Part time Recruitment Co-ordinator:
* Writing and posting job adverts across platforms
* Reviewing applications and shortlisting candidates
* Scheduling and coordinating interviews
* Communicating with candidates throughout the process
* Supporting onboarding (paperwork, welcome packs, inductions)
* Updating recruitment spreadsheets and records
* Working closely with managers to understand hiring needs
* Maintaining accurate records in line with safeguarding requirements
What We’re Looking for in the Part time Recruitment Co-ordinator is:
* Previous recruitment or administration experience
* A friendly, approachable personality
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to juggle multiple tasks
* Confidence working independently and using initiative
* Comfortable with Excel, Google Docs, email and timesheet software
* An interest or background in childcare is a bonus
