Children’s Hospices Across Scotland (CHAS) - Hospice Support Services Administrator
Children’s Hospices across Scotland, better known as CHAS, is Scotland’s national children’s hospice service caring for children with life-shortening conditions and their families. We operate through our two hospices, hospitals, and a home care service in the community.
Every week, three children in Scotland die from an incurable condition. Currently, CHAS can support only one in three of these families, but we are committed to reaching all of them. We aim to be there for every family, helping them celebrate their children's lives and honor their memory.
Are you passionate about making a difference? We are seeking a highly organized and professional administrator to support our teams with essential administrative and reception duties within Robin House, supporting the Nursing and Medical, Family Support, Outreach, and Quality & Assurance teams.
About You
* Proven experience delivering excellent administrative support
* Confident communicator with great attention to detail
* Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and prioritization skills
* Positive, welcoming, and proactive attitude
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and work efficiently and effectively
* Capable of handling routine and challenging situations with discretion and diplomacy
* Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) and data entry
* Committed to CHAS's core values, vision, and purpose

Additional Information
At CHAS, staff and volunteers work together as one team, with a volunteer-to-staff ratio of 3:1. All staff are expected to support volunteers and work collaboratively.
