Overview
The audit quality department is responsible for the development, implementation and monitoring of quality initiatives across the practice. This national role can be based out of any of RSM UK’s offices.
Responsibilities
* Complete pre‑issuance reviews of listed and high‑risk audit engagements
* Collaborate across the business to develop, implement and monitor quality initiatives that reduce risk and enhance audit quality
* Share key learnings and best practices with audit teams to improve overall audit quality initiatives that reduce risk and enhance audit quality
* Contribute to the ongoing development of quality initiatives as part of the audit quality enhancement plan
What we are looking for
* ACA qualified (or equivalent)
* Experienced Senior Manager within Audit; strong candidates at Manager grade will also be considered
* Proven technical auditing and accounting skills with experience with listed and high‑risk audit engagements
* Passion for improving audit quality; previous experience within an audit quality or methodology‑based role would be advantageous
* Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex issues clearly and provide constructive feedback
