The Governing Body of St Mary’s CIW Primary School is seeking to appoint a highly motivated, talented primary practitioner to join our successful and dedicated team.

The successful candidate will:•
1. Be an excellent classroom practitioner who inspires, motivates and nurtures children to achieve their full potential;
2. Have high expectations for all learners, including pupils with Additional Learning Needs (ALN);
3. Create engaging, inclusive and challenging learning experiences for pupils of all abilities;
4. Demonstrate strong classroom management skills and promote positive behaviour;
5. Have a secure understanding of the Primary Curriculum and Curriculum for Wales;
6. Be committed to inclusion, equality and pupil wellbeing;
7. Work effectively in partnership with colleagues, parents, governors and the wider community;
8. Be reflective, adaptable and committed to ongoing professional development;
9. Use ICT and innovative approaches to enhance teaching and learning;
10. Be able to teach Welsh as a second language.
