Job Overview
We are seeking a Project Assistant to join our dynamic team, someone who is reactive, proactive, responsible, prioritises tasks and workload, good work ethic, self-motivate, detail-oriented and with well proven track record of multitasking. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting project management activities, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within scope. This position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.
Key Duties/Responsibilities
* Assisting the Contracts Manager with coordination of projects
* Logging project related jobs on our JobLogic portal
* Arranging Purchase Order Nos when required
* Liaising with sub-contractors to arrange work
* Monitoring progress of works, ensuring reattendance where required, agreeing scheduling internally and ensuring works are completed in a timely manner
* Maintaining Programme Trackers
* Arranging skips and plant hire as and when required
* Arranging materials for site
* Resolving urgent and non urgent queries
* Supporting with adhoc requests as and when required
* Keeping Programme Co-Ordinator up to date with activities
* Booking accommodation/arranging expenses
* Supporting with invoicing
* Providing 'on call' support once trained on a rota basis
* Assisting with general admin duties, as required

* Previous experience of Projects (Preferable but not essential)
Experience of working in a fast-paced, customer focused environment would be an advantage, as would experience of working in a reactive project /scheduling field. Strong IT skills, including confidence working with Word and Excel are important.
