Job Title: Commercial Gas Maintenance Manager
Location: East London office location.
Salary: £60,000 – £63,000 per annum
Benefits: £7,000 car allowance, 25 days holiday, private healthcare
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Commercial Gas Maintenance Manager to join our team based in the east London office. This is a key leadership role, responsible for overseeing the delivery of commercial gas maintenance services across a diverse client portfolio, ensuring safety, compliance, and performance standards are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the commercial gas maintenance team, including engineers and subcontractors.
Oversee planned and reactive maintenance across commercial sites, ensuring works are completed to a high standard and within agreed timescales.
Ensure all gas works are compliant with current legislation and health & safety standards (Gas Safe, HSE).
Monitor performance KPIs and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Liaise with clients to ensure satisfaction, manage expectations, and provide technical support where necessary.
Manage budgets, procurement, and resource planning in line with commercial objectives.
Ensure effective reporting, documentation, and record-keeping for all maintenance activities.
Support with recruitment, training, and development of engineering staff.
Requirements:
Proven experience in a similar management role within commercial gas maintenance.
Recognised commercial gas qualifications (e.g., CODNCO1, CIGA1, ICPN1, TPCP1/1A).
Strong knowledge of gas safety legislation, maintenance best practices, and compliance requirements.
Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
Full UK driving licence.
