We are seeking a Lean and Continuous Improvement Lead to join our dynamic, growing team. This role focuses on driving operational excellence through Lean methodologies, performance improvement, and continuous initiatives in an industrial setting.
Located in Benalla and Mulwala, on Pangerang and Yorta Yorta land, your responsibilities include:
1. Leading and facilitating continuous improvement initiatives, identifying areas for enhancement, and implementing solutions to boost productivity, reduce errors and costs, and improve quality.
2. Collaborating with functional managers to address operational challenges, establish appropriate metrics, identify process bottlenecks, conduct root cause analysis, and implement improvements.
3. Analyzing and tracking performance metrics, pinpointing improvement areas, and developing strategies to meet business goals.
4. Leading and coaching cross-functional teams, encouraging collaboration and change management.
5. Providing communication and coaching on Lean Transformation and daily management practices.
6. Partnering with senior leadership to determine priorities and address capability gaps.
On your first day, we expect you to possess:
* A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or Engineering (preferred).
* Solid experience in lean practices within Manufacturing or Operations.
* Lean and Six Sigma certification (Green Belt preferred).
* Goal-oriented, reliable, self-motivated, and skilled at multitasking.
* Strong project management, analytical skills, and a hands-on problem-solving approach.
* Effective communication and coaching abilities to foster sustainable change.
* Eligibility for Australian defence clearances.
* Ability to work on-site.
