Finance Director (Voluntary) - Avro Football Club

Avro Football Club is seeking a dedicated Finance Director to join our leadership team in a voluntary capacity. This pivotal role will oversee all financial operations of the organisation and provide strategic financial guidance to support the club's continued growth and success.
The Finance Director will work closely with the Chief Operating Officer to manage all aspects of club and company finances. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic football club while utilising your professional expertise in a meaningful volunteer role.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will manage our relationship and correspondence with external accountants, ensuring seamless communication and coordination of all accounting matters. You will provide support with bookkeeping activities and directly manage our finance assistants, offering guidance and oversight to maintain accurate financial records.
Working collaboratively with the Chief Operating Officer, you will be responsible for overseeing the comprehensive financial operations of both the club and company entities, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and maintaining the highest standards of financial management.
Qualifications
Candidates must be qualified accountants holding ACA, ACCA, or equivalent professional certification.
