Role Overview
This Summer Domestic Team Supervisor will support the Team Leader in all aspects of planning, organising, and distributing linen during the summer letting period. The postholder will report directly to the Team Leader, who oversees linen operations across multiple buildings.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise a team of eight Linen Assistants
* Ensure effective distribution, collection, and counting of clean and used linen
* Manage all aspects of team performance
* Allocate workload to team members
Qualifications & Experience
* Excellent organisational skills
* Previous experience in housekeeping or hospitality
* Keen eye for detail and passion for delivering excellent service
* Outstanding customer service skills and ability to communicate professionally with a wide range of colleagues and customers
* Experience in workload allocation to team members
* Supervisory skills are desirable
Working Conditions
* Weekend work on a rota basis for the duration of the contract
* Flexibility essential – working patterns and locations may change in line with business needs
* Must be able to commit to the entire fixed‑term period of employment
