Automotive Parts Advisor
Location: Maidstone
Salary: £25,000 – £30,000 (Dependent on Experience)
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday (08:00 – 17:15) + 1 in 3 Saturdays (08:00 – 12:30)

The Role
As an Automotive Parts Advisor, you will be the heartbeat of our parts department, serving as the vital link between our customers, trade partners, and our internal workshop.
Key Responsibilities:
* Expert Consultation: Utilize Electronic Parts Catalogues (EPC) to accurately identify components for retail, trade, and workshop requirements.
* Workshop Synergy: Support our technicians by ensuring rapid and accurate parts delivery to minimize vehicle downtime.
* Stock Management: Maintain precise inventory records, oversee core returns, and manage incoming orders to optimize stock turn.
* Proactive Service: Manage high-volume enquiries via phone and email, providing technical advice and identifying upselling opportunities for accessories.
* Operational Standards: Ensure the parts department remains organized, efficient, and professional at all times.
What You'll Need to Succeed
* Proven Experience: You must have a background as a Parts Advisor within a franchised dealership or motor factor environment.
* Systems Knowledge: Proficiency in Dealer Management Systems (DMS) such as Kerridge, Pinnacle, or similar is essential.
* Technical Literacy: A deep understanding of vehicle systems and the ability to interpret complex parts diagrams.
* Communication Skills: The ability to build rapport quickly with both trade professionals and retail customers.
* Precision: Strong attention to detail regarding part numbers, pricing, and inventory levels.
