You will work with other members of Lampton Services Management Team to manage annual budgets as well as providing up-to-date health and safety compliance information and reports for Lampton Homes and London Borough of Hounslow. Key Responsibilities include: Monitor and plan servicing programmes and plan of work relating to statutory health and safety compliance and ensure they are delivered on time and to the required standards ensuring that all necessary certification is always in place Plan, coordinate and arrange all works having due regard to LS and LBH contractual obligations and administer such work in a spirit of mutual co-operation and trust. Monitor relevant contractors and operatives to ensure delivery against timescales, specifications, budget, and to lead on all reconciliation activities to ensure data accuracy Assist management in contractor progress meetings, ensuring health and safety KPI’s and contractual obligations are discussed and maintained. Resolve any areas of conflict between LS and external suppliers. Responsible for verification of works completed and their quality. Oversee and arranging a programme of post inspections to confirm identified works have been completed in line with suppliers' contractual agreements Ensure work programmes are well planned, and performance targets are known to enable measurement of contractor performance. Identify opportunities to enhance operational performance and customer excellence through continuous improvement of processes, procedures and systems. Ensure accurate and timely completion of all paperwork/electronic updates are received and logged. Review and respond to contractors’ applications for payment for planned work projects, in accordance with contract conditions. Ensure all completed works is recorded and available for upload into the client’s management system Keep updated on corporate, regulatory and legislative changes and advise management of the implications to the business Contribute towards and support the review of Health, Safety and Wellbeing related Policies and Procedures Previous Experience and Skills Required: Able to drive and hold a full UK driving licence Holder of a Health and Safety qualification (IOSH, NEBOSH) NVQ level 2/3 building safety qualification Experience of collaborative working with colleagues to monitor and develop services and deliver change Knowledge of housing legislation and compliance requirements in the UK Previous experience of working in a Social Housing Repairs environment is desirable. Proven experience in a compliance or risk management role Analytical and logical skills with excellent problem solving Good level of numeracy, literacy, written, oral and communication skills Due to the needs of the business and the department, we may interview suitable candidates before the closing date.
