Overview
The Performance Audio & Lighting Marketing Manager will be responsible for determining, overseeing and executing all marketing activity for HARMAN Professional Solution's product categories in the live performance space across EMEA. Reporting to the Regional Marketing Team Lead and Market Manager, this role partners closely with the Global Brand, Activation and Content Manager and will be the strategic marketing partner to the Sales Director, Performance Audio and Lighting, EMEA to drive the commercial success of the category by leveraging your extensive knowledge of the live performance industry and our target customers to build excitement around our brands and a high level of engagement with our customers. The ideal candidate brings experience within the live events sector, along with a strong passion for marketing and the measurable impact it can deliver. You are a proactive self‑starter, comfortable in a fast‑paced environment, and able to balance strategic thinking with effective execution. Success in this role requires strong cross‑functional collaboration across Sales, Business Development, Global Marketing, Product Segments, Technical Services, and Finance, as well as external agencies. You will also build strong relationships with key partners and retailers to deliver marketing initiatives that support business growth and strengthen brand presence across the region.
Key Responsibilities
* Own and deliver the EMEA marketing strategy for Live & Performance, translating business priorities into clear, high‑impact marketing initiatives.
* Act as a trusted, proactive partner to regional sales and leadership teams, including Performance Audio and Lighting, influencing direction and accelerating commercial outcomes.
* Lead integrated, end‑to‑end campaigns across PR, digital, content, advertising, and events, collaborating with global teams and agencies to ensure consistent, best‑in‑class execution.
* Represent HARMAN externally for your categories, building strong industry and partner relationships and supporting the shift toward deeper, more strategic customer partnerships.
* Work closely with Business Development and Sales to develop compelling storytelling and content that engages core audiences and supports pipeline growth.
* Manage budgets, measure ROI, track KPIs, and clearly communicate performance and insights to senior stakeholders.
* Leverage industry knowledge and networks to inform category strategy, identify opportunities, and feed market intelligence back into the business.
Qualifications
* At least solid marketing experience (c. 5+ years), with a proven ability to stay ahead of trends, best practice, and evolving marketing techniques.
* Strong industry experience and an established network within the live performance sector (c. 5+ years), paired with deep market understanding and genuine passion for the space.
* A bachelor's degree in marketing or a related discipline, with additional relevant marketing qualifications where applicable.
* A self‑starter mindset comfortable navigating ambiguity in a fast‑paced, evolving environment, able to think strategically while maintaining strong attention to detail.
* Commercially astute, with a clear understanding of how marketing activity drives and supports wider business objectives.

* Agile and confident, able to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously and prioritize effectively in response to business needs.

Nice to have
* International experience, comfortable working with many countries and different cultures.
* Additional European or Middle East language skills a plus.
* Well‑networked within the European Tour Audio space, contacts with sound engineers, lighting designers, and rental companies.
Eligibility
* Be willing to travel up to 30%, domestic and international travel.
* Be willing to work in an office.
* Successfully complete a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment.
* Drivers: The position requires driving. Any offer of employment will be contingent upon having a clean driving record, which will be evaluated according to company policy. Candidates must have no more than four active points for moving violations and no history of operating a vehicle under the influence of controlled substances within the last 10 years.
