16+ hours per week, 22 weeks per year, + 7.5% Shift Allowance, Fixed Term until 25 October 2026
West Lothian’s 3 Country Parks provides visitors with enjoyable countryside experiences and Countryside Attendants are required to assist in the operation of the facilities at these and other countryside locations. A large element of the job involves daily duties on the Beecraigs Caravan & Camping site, is outdoor work and supports the running of the Visitor Centres.
Candidates must have the ability to drive, be personable with good oral communication skills, have a good level of fitness and enjoy working in the outdoors. They must also have the ability to work on their own initiative and show good time management.
Posts may vary with the earliest starting on 25th May 2026 and ends on 25th October 2026. These are two of four posts. Staff will be expected to cover each other’s leave as extra work dates. The rota is worked as: -

* Thurs & Fri 6hrs each day (12:50-19:10 with 20min break) & Sun 4hrs (09:00-13:00)
