Soldering Technician

Up to £28,000pa (DOE)
Soldering Technician Role:
Undertake hand soldering to PCB assemblies in accordance with defined build instructions for a variety of major OEMs.
Carry out complex rework, modifications, and repair of PCB assemblies (dependent on experience, this may also include board modifications to customer requirements)
Ensure all processes are stringently adhered to; highlight any gaps or process improvements to supervision, ensuring timely remedial actions including QMS documentation updates
Work from assembly drawings, work instructions, and bills of materials
Maintain compliance with company Quality Standards and procedures
Support production and engineering teams with technical expertiseAbout You:
Experience in electronics manufacturing (preferred, but applicants with strong IPC training will be considered)
Trained to IPC-A-610 and J-STD Class 3 standards with demonstrable soldering skills
Modification knowledge/capabilities preferred but not mandatory
Current IPC certification highly desirable (IPC-A-610 and/or IPC-7711/21)Why Join as a Soldering Technician?
