Data Analyst at Daxis Web BV. Permanent, £30,000 per annum, based in Glasgow, 5 days per week.
Summary: You will support the company's data function and play a key role in providing accurate reporting and insights that inform business decisions. Working closely with senior analysts and the leadership team, you will assist in the collection, validation, and analysis of data across the business.
Main Responsibilities
* Assist in building and maintaining dashboards and reports.
* Provide routine performance reports and support ad-hoc analysis requests.
* Support the validation and cleansing of datasets to ensure accuracy.
* Follow processes that uphold data quality and integrity.
* Contribute to the delivery of data-driven insights that support decision-making.
* Assist in gathering requirements from stakeholders to understand their reporting needs.
* Support efforts to improve reporting and data workflows.
* Learn and apply new tools and methods for data analysis.
Essential Experience Required
* Understanding of data analysis concepts and reporting tools.
* Proficiency in Excel for data manipulation.
* Ability to clean, validate, and organise datasets.
Desirable Experience Required
* Exposure to BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik.
* Experience working with large datasets or cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
* Familiarity with SQL or other database query languages.
